Classic Swedish

European-style full-body massage with an Eastern influence.  Light to medium pressure strokes relax the entire body, while acupressure points are targeted for releasing pent up stresses.

The Athlete

Maximize athletic performance and shorten recovery periods by targeting key muscle groups with medium to deep pressure massage.  Myofascial trigger points can be addressed with deep tissue therapy, reducing or eliminating recurring pain.  Thai-style stretching promotes overall flexibility and proper muscle development.  A beneficial massage before or after training sessions or athletic events.

Prenatal

A Classic Swedish or Rejuvenator massage with special modifications made for the expectant mother.  Relax tired leg and back muscles and reduce the overall stress that comes with pregnancy.  Continuing research suggests that prenatal massage has lasting positive effects on both mother and child.

Ashiatsu

A Japanese modality performed on a floor mat with the client fully clothed.  No lotions or oils are used.  Acupressure points, or tsu-bo, are addressed throughout the body, as the practitioner utilizes fingers and feet to apply varying pressure.  An incredible massage unlike any other that must be experienced to be appreciated.

The Works

An extravagant blend of indulgence and general health maintenance.  A full-body session that relaxes, de-stresses, and promotes circulation.  Soft music, candlelight, and aromatherapy take you to another world for an hour and a half or for two heavenly hours.  Hot stones and reiki may complement your massage, and a session in the club's sauna or steam room rounds out this rejuvenating experience.   The Works may also be modified as a prenatal massage.

Deep Tissue Spot Work

Recurring pain is often caused by myofascial trigger points, which in turn develop from prolonged tension or muscle overuse.  Such trigger points may be remote from the region in which they are referring pain, but can be identified and released by a skilled therapist.  An extended treatment plan with home self-care and follow-up sessions can often completely eliminate pain.
